The Printemps du Patrimoine in Haute-Loire is back for its second edition, promising a wonderful showcase for the region’s cultural and natural heritage. From April 5 to May 4, 2025, lovers of history, art and nature are invited to explore or rediscover the hidden treasures of this territory.

A visit to the Chapelle des Pénitents in Tence Thursday, April 24 and Wednesday, April 30

Guided tour of the village of Tence, its brooks and the Lignon, its ramparts and interior visit of the Pénitents chapel, listed as a Historic Monument.

Meet at 2.30pm in front of the Tence tourist office. Free admission.

Le Lieu de Mémoire Wednesday 16, Wednesday 23 April and Friday 2 May

The Lieu de Mémoire (Place of Memory) lets you discover the history of hospitality and resistance in the area around Le Chambon-sur-Lignon.

Family LandArt. Imagine an ephemeral work of art based on the history of welcoming children to the Plateau. Meet at 10am, €3/person. Reservations recommended on 04 71 56 56 65.

The Chièze memorial site Saturday, April 26 and Friday, May 2

Event organized by Le Lieu de Mémoire in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon. Discovering a landscape of refuge. A guided walk around the hamlet of Chièze, in the commune of Araules, to discover the landscape and its role in local history.
